September 22, December 10, April 7?

Alasha and I had a blast in Atlanta. We stayed in the famous Georgian Terrace Hotel (where they had the cast party for "Gone With the WInd") and directly across the street from the "Fox Theater" (Allison Krauss and Union Station were in concert there the Saturday I was there, but it was sold out).

Here is a picture of me, Alasha and a boy or girl to be named on or before somewhere around April 7, 2008, Lord willing? This picture was taken at the Coco Cola headquarters in Atlanta and is in honor of M. Isaac Graul who loves COKE more than any one else I know.

PS. THERE IS A NOT SO SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE IN THIS POST. SEE IF YOU CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS.

"I Have A Dream"

When I was younger my parents felt it very important that my brother and I got the chance to "see" or "experience" history. Because of this by the time Chris and I were 12 and 13 we had visited over half of the United States of America, over half of Europe, and Canada. Looking back, I realize how blessed I have been and continue to be. One of my most vivid memories is the hotel where the great civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was slain. That and many other memories were revisited when Alasha and I visited "The King Center" in Atlanta, GA. I have long since understood that because of Dr. King and many others of all colors, and cultures that I am able to travel the world. Thank you to all who give of their life so that others may have a better life.

Somethin' Bout Friends.

Alasha and I recently took a much needed vacation. It was a road trip that involved Branson, MO; Owensboro, KY; and Atlanta, GA. Alasha have traveled through this country before but we were working (we were in Acappella). In Branson we visited with Tim, Angie, Emma, and Evan Storms. Tim sings in one of the shows there in Branson. We had a great time in Branson but found out some interesting news. I will get to that in a later post. Anyway, our second stop was in Kentucky with Kris, Stacey, and Caleb Kropp. We meet the Kropp's in 2000 on a cruise that Acappella hosted. They were the first couple, as a couple, Alasha and I met and befriended. At the time they were in Appleton, Wisconsin. They hosted a couple of Acappella concerts and continued to stay in touch. Kris and Stacey mean a lot to us and we had a great time. Their son Caleb is a few months younger than Jonah. Since we did not take Jonah with us on this trip we look forward to the two meeting some day. We love you Kropp Buddy Buds.
